Fedor Veselov, nascut a Sant Petersburg, Rússia, comença la seva carrera amb 12 anys, guanyant diversos concursos nacionals e internacionals. Als 17 anys el van admetre a la classe de la pianista de renom internacional Elisso Virsaladze. Mentre cursava els seus estudis al Conservatori de Moscou continua guanyant diversos concursos com a pianista solista i pianista de música de cambra.
